One of the best ways to find out if your child may benefit from treatment with Myobrace is by asking yourself these 5 questions:
- Does your child breath through their mouth? This is often indicative of an anterior open bite.
- Do the lips fit together at rest? If so, they may have a narrow upper jaw with crooked front teeth.
- Does your child have to use their chin muscles to bring their lips together? Ask them to do so and place your finger on their chin-if you can feel a hardening under the finger, then they are.
- Does your child move their lips when swallowing (aside from eating or drinking)? There should be no movement.
- Does your child’s lower lip rest behind or on the upper front teeth? This can result in “buck teeth”.
During the seminar, Dr Asad will examine each child who attends, allowing him to give a specific forecast of options unique to their needs. This way, you can decide whether or not you’d like to move forward without having incurred any expense!
